SMART Test Solutions carried out some floor scanning on site recently.
We were also tasked to see if we could find some ground beams that were on the drawings but not on the as-built drawings or on the as-built photos as none were taken during construction and we were successful and found all 5 ground beams. We also supplied some free ferroscan rebar surveys and thankfully again the rebar arrangement matched the initial structural drawings and rebar schedules.
Full safety protocols were adopted and dealt with prior to going onto the site, including most importantly the COVID precautions.
All units used were in full factory calibration. A site calibration was also carried out in front of the client and a repeatability survey was carried out and 100% location accuracy was found.
Surveys were carried out to the client’s satisfaction, with more areas covered after the client requested some more on-site, and the report was issued the next day as part of our commitment to our customers.
